January17

Happy Birthday, Kirstie
from the Organic Liaison Family!

On behalf of everyone who sent us birthday wishes for Kirstie, Organic Liaison would like say Happy Birthday to our leading lady. 62 has never been hotter!

Kirstie celebrated her 62nd birthday this past Saturday, January 12. She looked slim and radiant as she welcomed Entertainment Tonight’s Rob Marciano into her beautiful Wichita, Kansas home for a home-cooked, organic meal.

On maintaining her 100-pound weight loss for over a year, Kirstie confessed: “My interest isn’t being skinny-minnie and wearing a size two. I think I look good and I’m lean and strong.” She credited Organic Liaison, a combination of organic eating, healthy supplements and exercise, for helping her conquer the weight.

Kirstie and Rob followed their helping of delicious, organic beef and quinoa stuffed tacos with a refreshing glass of Rescue Me—Kirstie’s go-to source for essential vitamins and nutrients, help with hunger cravings, and that helpful boost in natural energy.

Kirstie Films Pilot for New TV Land Comedy “Giant Baby” with Stellar Cast

December14

Today, Kirstie is filming the pilot for her much-anticipated TV Land comedy Giant Baby in front of a live studio audience!

Kirstie stars as Madison “Maddie” Banks, a Broadway star who gave her son up for adoption 26 years ago. Her son, Arlo, returns to her life looking to reconnect with his birth mother after his adopted mother dies. According to TV Land, “Maddie doesn’t exactly see nerdy and schlubby Arlo fitting in with her luxurious lifestyle. When her attempt to change Arlo backfires, Maddie finds that perhaps they both could use a little change in their lives.”

Kirstie is joined by a talented cast of fellow comedy veterans: former Cheers co-star Rhea Perlman and Seinfeld’s Michael Richards. “Giant Baby” also stars Switched at Birth’s Gilles Marini (Kirstie’s fellow competitor from the latest season of Dancing with the Stars) and Eric Peterson.

With an A-list team and hilarious writing to work with, Kirstie can’t wait to share Giant Baby with you! Stay tuned for new updates on the pilot!

Kirstie Amazing Week: New Book, Dancing, Hurricane Relief, and More!

November8

Kirstie’s Amazing Week

After an emotional, high-scoring performance last week, Kirstie entered Week 7 with new perspective on the competition: “When I look through the history of DWTS, at least half the time, the winner is not the best dancer. So, I have a real place on the show that has value. I can inspire people to think, ’I can do this too!’”

Assigned the Quickstep-Samba fusion dance, Kirstie rehearsed with this motivation: “I always felt that my purpose as an entertainer was to make people feel better.” But this week, Kirstie and Maks, much like the rest of the nation, were “thinking more about Sandy than dancing.” Kirstie rallied fans via Facebook and Twitter to bring donations to the Organic Liaison store in LA over the weekend for a rush shipment of Hurricane Relief to the East Coast. Noting that the neighborhood where he grew up has been completely devastated by the storm, Maks came by to pack up boxes and help out as much as possible.

On Monday night, Team Kirstie delivered the entertainment they’ve become known for, with a medieval-themed fusion dance that involved a strategic skirt quick-change! The judges gave Kirstie triple 8s for an enjoyable performance despite some minor incidences.

Due to the election coverage last night, there was no results show, and no elimination. But next week will be a dreaded DOUBLE ELIMINATION. Team Kirstie will need your support more than ever, so don’t forget to tune in and vote next Monday, starting at 8|7c on ABC.

Kirstie is also happy to announce that her memoir, The Art of Men (I Prefer Mine Al Dente), is out now. You can get your copy here.

Make sure to catch Kirstie’s appearances this week:

Thursday, 11/8
Entertainment Tonight (Check your local listings.)
Jimmy Kimmel Live, 12|11c on ABC

Friday, 11/9

DWTS WEEK 6: Kirstie’s Sultry Rumba earns her “Queen of Sexy” Title & Highest Score Yet!

November2

Team Kirstie is Safe
to Dance Next Week!

On Monday night, Kirstie earned her highest score yet on DWTS. She and Maks impressed the judges with a passionate Rumba to Blake Shelton’s Home.

Judge Carrie Ann called Kirstie, “The Queen of Sexy!”
Bruno said: “It was the expression of gorgeousness of a real woman.”
Len called the dance “clean, clear, and classy.”

Team Kirstie even received 2 extra points for their second group dance of the season.

Thanks to your votes, Team Kirstie is SAFE and will be back next week, dancing 2 different styles to 1 song. As Kirstie gets better, the competition is only getting tougher. Kirstie and Maks can’t do it without you, so remember to keep watching and voting! Tune into the LIVE show next Monday at 8|7c on ABC, then vote right after!

Every day, Kirstie is proving that age is just a number, staying strong and naturally energized with her own Rescue Me.

Have what she’s having: the energy of a 20 year old and the fearlessness to put her best foot forward!

DWTS Week 5 – Night 2 of “Guilty Pleasures,” “Gangnam Style”

October24

Last night, Kirstie and her fellow competitors performed their 4-team dance-off routine to Psy’s “Gangnam Style.” The performance was crazy and hilarious, with the couples first in matching suits, then stripping down to skimpier outfits for dance solos. Kirstie did a double cartwheel, the boys went shirtless; there were splits and body-rolls, and overall cheesy, sexy fun. The entire studio went wild!

Host Tom Bergeron couldn’t help exclaiming: “That’s the most fun I’ve had in 15 seasons!”

Len said, “That was the craziest number I have ever seen. It wasn’t tight, it wasn’t together, but it should’ve come with a health warning. It was fun!”

Carrie Ann said, “Sometimes a hot mess is excusable and turns into crazy fun insanity. Hallelujah!”

Bruno was so beside himself, he asked Gilles’ to whip his towel off, so he did!

Guilty Pleasures, indeed. There’s obviously no telling what to expect, so don’t forget to tune in next Monday for Country Week, and VOTE for Team Kirstie throughout the show. Remember, next week’s votes will be tallied along with this week’s votes to determine the next eliminations, and Kirstie can’t do it without you!

DWTS Week 5 – “Guilty Pleasures” Night 2, Kirstie Still Needs Your Votes

October23

It’s Night 2 of “Guilty Pleasures” Week, and Kirstie still needs your votes!

Last night, Kirstie and Maks danced a beautiful quickstep to Kirstie’s own favorite guilty pleasure song, Simon and Garfunkel’s appropriately titled “Mrs. Robinson.” “Kirstie offered: “There are so many women over 40 or 50… madly in love with Maks, so it can be their guilty pleasure too.”

In rehearsals, Maks reminded Kirstie that only amazing dancers remained. With the extremely tough competition showing no signs of letting up, Kirstie committed herself to continuing to improve while doing what she does best: entertaining. Despite her frustration in rehearsals (”I just want to do better!”) Kirstie pulled through and impressed both the judges and audience. The judges agreed that it was Kirstie’s best dance of the competition and awarded her 8.5’s across the board for her highest total score yet: 25.5!

DWTS WEEK 3: Kirstie & “Maks” Jagger Cha-Cha Past Double Elimination

October11

Kirstie tackled Week 3’s harrowing Double Elimination Challenge with what she thought would be her best edge on the stiff competition: fearlessness.

She chose to re-invent TV host Carson Kressley’s past Cha-Cha by throwing in ambitious creative twists. With the help of some unexpected props (a Mini Cooper and screaming entourage), a catchy beat (Maroon 5’s Moves Like Jagger), Maks “Jagger” in a wig, and enough chemistry to bring the house down, Team Kirstie delivered full-fledged entertainment—and their best performance yet!

Putting up 8’s across the board, the judges were in agreement:

“Thank you, that was the most fun I’ve had all night. That was your best dance so far out of the season.” —Carrie Ann

“Such fun, good Cha-Cha, nice timing, good foot placement. It was the whole package!” —Len

“You’re fully loaded with camp fun! It was the most fun I’ve had up to now.” —Bruno

Thanks to your support, Kirstie and Maks survived last night’s results show. With the difficult Charleston up next week, your votes will be as vital as ever! So remember to tune into the LIVE show on Monday at 8|7c on ABC, then vote right after!
